Period: 2020-2021 | Budget: USD 35 700 | The project will visualize how discourses of Georgian Orthodox Church over territoriality relate to the practices of church-building. By employing various qualitative and quantitative methods, researchers will analyze the number of churches and their geographical location. Property of GOC will be studied as well. All data will be visualized on the digital map as a major output of the project along with the study and open access articles.

Period: 2020 Amount: 46, 640 GEL The main goal of the project 'Rebuilding Memory for Future' is to increase the awareness of the society about the background and the context of the conflict in South Ossetia. Conflict transformation is impossible without working on and researching memory. To that end, oral stories of war-affected persons will be collected and studied. In the same vein, the portal of shared memory will bring back into one space the experiences of those on different sides of the conflict and will turn the crucially important accounts into common narrative.
