Period: 2020 Amount: 46, 640 GEL The main goal of the project 'Rebuilding Memory for Future' is to increase the awareness of the society about the background and the context of the conflict in South Ossetia. Conflict transformation is impossible without working on and researching memory. To that end, oral stories of war-affected persons will be collected and studied. In the same vein, the portal of shared memory will bring back into one space the experiences of those on different sides of the conflict and will turn the crucially important accounts into common narrative.
